Meet Dr. Bathina

Dr. Bathina graduated from the University of Southern California where he obtained his Certificate in Endodontics, after earning his dental degree from the Government Dental College & Hospital, Hyderabad, India in 2001. He is a board eligible candidate for the American Board of Endodontics and is currently pursuing his goal to become a Diplomat of the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Bathina is constantly seeking to provide his patients with the best level of care and has taken many postgraduate education courses through his professional affiliations with organizations like American Association of Endodontists (AAE), International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT), International Association of Dental Research (IADR), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and Jamaican Dental Association (JDA). He has a firm belief in providing comprehensive, thorough Endodontic care to all of his patients. It is for this reason, that he keeps up-to-date with the latest peer reviewed journals and utilizes the newest techniques in the field of Endodontics. He also possesses a very unique level of empathy and friendliness and is often complemented by his patients on his pleasant chairside manner.

Outside the Office

Dr. Bathina currently teaches Endodontics to undergraduates at Baylor College of Dentistry. He is actively involved in voluntary work providing free Endodontic care through Mobile Clinics and in Union Rescue Missions to Homeless people in need of dental care. He volunteered in conducting National Oral Health Survey programs in Jamaica and also a Dental Mission trip to Cambodia.

Dr Bathina is married to Madeleine, who is also a USC graduate Dentist. In his spare time Dr. Bathina along with his wife enjoy sports, running, yoga, traveling and discovering new cultures and places.

Dr Bathinas’ journey since 2011 has been very humbling. This journey took him to different countries dealing with different cultures and clinical setups and helped him to improve both personally and professionally.
